To be successful in your business, we need to establish a professional, businesslike relationship with the parents of the children in your programs. This means we need to take care of yourself, your staff and work seriously with parents of the children in your care as business clients, including friends and relatives. We will look at what is required in your policies and procedures according the Washington Administrative Codes (WACs) and look at additional policies that you may want to add for your business based on your individual circumstances. This class will be in two evenings, with homework between sessions, giving you time to review and potentially change your policies, or make them more clear for parents to understand.
