Skagit County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Application

  • General Information

  • An employer identification number (EIN) is a nine-digit number assigned by the IRS. It's used to identify the tax accounts of employers and certain others who have no employees. The IRS uses the number to identify taxpayers who are required to file various business tax returns. What is a Unified Business Identifier (UBI) number? A UBI number is a nine-digit number that registers you with several state agencies and allows you to do business in Washington State. A UBI number is sometimes called a tax registration number, a business registration number, or a business license number.
  • NOTE: This is the address where you want to open your child care business. If you are in the process of finding a location, use your current address.
    Please note: Only home based, Family Child Care (FCC) is eligible for this specific funding
  • Please include names of coaches and/or mentors you are working with and how they have assisted you

  • WCCC = Working Connections Child Care helps eligible families pay for child care through state assistance
  • ex. low income neighborhood, rural part of county
  • The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults who are enrolled for care at participating child care centers, day care homes, and adult day care centers.
  • Be sure to include education, trainings and any skills when explaining your experience in the child care/early learning industry.
  • ex. bilingual program, Montessori inspired, specific curriculum, special needs accommodations, etc.
