Outdoor Wonders: Integrating Nature and Pattern Recognition in Early Learning

Step outside and learn with nature!
This hands-on training helps early childhood teachers use nature in their classrooms. You will learn how to help children find patterns and shapes in natural elements- like leaves, flowers and trees.
We will play and explore together! You’ll see how to use what is outside to teach math in fun ways!
You’ll learn how to:
• Help children recognize patterns in nature and increase observation skills
• Bring nature into your learning space- no matter your location
• Support learning for all ages and school settings
Nature is all around us- let’s use it to help children learn and grow!
This training will be outdoors rain or shine! Please wear appropriate clothing. There is also some walking, as well as sitting on the ground: please bring a portable chair if you wish.
