NW Early Achievers Orientation

March 19 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Free

Early Achievers is Washington State’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), designed to support early learning and school-age programs in providing high-quality care that promotes children’s learning, development, and long-term success. Through a continuous quality improvement framework, Early Achievers helps programs build strong foundations in teaching practices, family engagement, leadership, and program management.

Early Achievers is designed to:

  • Support early learning professionals through access to coaching, professional development, mental health consultation, and financial incentives such as quality improvement awards and grants.
  • Strengthen program quality using research-based standards aligned with child development best practices.
Promote school readiness by ensuring children have enriching, inclusive, and culturally responsive early learning experiences.
  • Create pathways for growth by guiding programs through progressive quality levels that recognize and reward continuous improvement.

During this session, participants will:

  • Learn how Early Achievers works, including levels, ratings, and expectations
  • Understand the benefits of participation for both providers and families
  • Explore available supports, including coaching and financial incentives
  • Learn how to get started or move forward within the Early Achievers system

This session is a great opportunity for both new and current providers to ask questions, better understand requirements, and explore how Early Achievers can support your program’s growth and success. Please note: This session is for informational purposes only. STARS hours will not be awarded. This is intended for providers in the Northwest (NW) Region only.

This session will be held on Zoom on the third Wednesday of every month. To accommodate different schedules, two session times are offered:

  • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Please select the session time that works best for you when registering. A Zoom invitation and meeting link will be emailed to you prior to the session.
