Early Learning Coach & Trainer, Everett Office
Elyssa is an Early Learning Coach at CCA Northwest and primarily serves providers in Snohomish County. Holding her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a minor in Human Development with a focus on ECE and family systems, and her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with a focus on print photography and digital design, Elyssa’s work in ECE began during her time at university. It was in her early days spent working in and studying ECE that Elyssa decided to continue pursuing this work post-grad. Prior to working with CCA Northwest, Elyssa spent most of her time working in NAEYC accredited Child Development Centers where she held many positions including support roles in the kitchen, front desk, and in classrooms of all age groups; and in leadership positions in classrooms and center leadership. Most of Elyssa’s teaching experience has been in the waddler toddler age group- working with this age group is a huge passion of hers. The human experience is of great interest to Elyssa and is at the center of how she approaches her work as a coach and trainer. Outside of work, she enjoys creating new experiences for her child with her husband and three dogs.
