Early Learning/B3QI Infant Toddler Coach & Trainer, Everett Office
Joshua has been in the Early Learning field for over 18 years and has always had a passion for community work- primarily providing services to young children, youth, and families. Initially, Joshua’s career goal was to become a Juvenile Probation Officer. To gain relevant experience, he volunteered as a Youth Pastor at his local church for 7 years. Subsequently, he joined a School District as a Family Advocate/Paraprofessional, and supported migrant and bilingual students and their families for 8 years. Eventually, Joshua transitioned to a similar role, working as a Family Advocate, and assisted with administering ECEAP and Migrant Seasonal Head Start programs at an Early Learning Center. Joshua has been with CCA Northwest for over 7 years, serving early learning programs in the Everett area as a Bilingual Early Learning Coach, an Infant/Toddler Coach, and a STARS Trainer. Joshua holds his AAS in Criminal Justice and an AAS in Theology and is in the process of completing his AA and hopefully continuing with a BA in ECE within the near future. Outside of work, Joshua recently moved to Whatcom County, where he spends his time in the beautiful outdoors with friends and his two furry children, Picasso and Loba. He also maintains a close relationship with his large Latino family, which he is immensely proud to be part of.
