Family, Friends, and Neighbor Manager & Trainer, Bellingham Office
Julie is the Family, Friends, and Neighbor (Play & Learn) Manager for our region in addition to a STARS Trainer. With over 30 years of experience in the field of ECE- as a Family Child Care Home Provider, a State- Approved Trainer, Early Learning Coach, and previous Professional Development Coordinator, Julie brings a passion for understanding children’s development, running a business, and supporting early childhood educators in their work with children and families. Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Management from Western Washington University, an Early Childhood Endorsement from Whatcom Community College, and her Master’s in ECE from Eastern Washington University. In addition to her current role at CCA of Northwest WA, Julie is a part-time Early Childhood Educator at two local community colleges. Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending most of her time with family and friends, reading, traveling, enjoying outdoor activities, and being “Baba” to her two grandchildren.
