The Growing Brain: Social Emotional Development
The Growing Brain Series by Zero to Three module 5 is on Social and Emotional Development.
This class will help us understand how social and emotional development unfolds in the first 5 years and how to support young children. We will look at identifying areas of the brain involved in social and emotional reactions. We will understand the role of relationships and attachments in social and emotional development. We will understand the effects of stress and empathy on the brain. You will receive a training packet with your registration with handouts and activities we will go through during the class
