Starbright Early Learning Center in Everett is looking to hire a dance and movement instructor for our preschool program for our 2019/2020 school year. We emphasize creativity, self-discipline, and self-worth while working with children individually to help them identify their own unique strengths and abilities!
The instructor will teach a dance and/or movement lesson once a week (Thursday mornings) to children ranging in age from 12 months to 5 years old. Each lesson will last 20 minutes and in total will be taught to eight different classrooms. The lessons begin at 9 am and the instructor will be going to each class. The instructor is responsible for bringing their own equipment and managing time to be on time for each class. The last lesson ends at 11:50 am. You may work with the teacher to see what the children are interested in or you may develop your own specific lessons.
- 1 year commitment is required (Sept.-Mid May)
- Clean record and reliable transportation
- Passionate about dance and young children
- At least one year experience teaching dance to young children
- At least 5 years experience in all forms of dance
