Infant Teacher Assistant

Starbright Early Learning Center in Everett is looking to hire a part-time teacher assistant in our Infant classroom.  We are a private preschool and our teachers understand the importance of developmentally appropriate practice in order to provide an enriched environment. We emphasize creativity,  self-discipline, and self-worth while working with children individually to help them identify their own unique strengths and abilities.

This position is great for those who are looking to get their foot in the door or for those who are going to school. The hours are 3:30-6 pm, Monday through Friday. Applicants must be team player, flexible, and dependable.  Must be 18 years of age. 

Duties include, but are not limited to: Able to lift at least 50 lbs., maintain a physical environment which is clean, safe, and organized, communicate effectively with families and other staff, and follow daily schedule of classroom and infants. We prefer candidates to have some experience in working with infants as well as, certification in CPR/1st Aid, Bloodborne pathogens/HIV, negative TB test, and Food Handlers Card.  You may check out our website for more information about our program.
