Grant Funding for Child Care Providers (Training full. Wait list only)

Child Care funding has changed in recent years, with many sources of funding now becoming available to child care providers. This new attention is terrific, but comes with a range of eligibility requirements, spending restrictions and documentation and compliance requirements that must be followed. This training will help you sort out how to look at a grant and see if it is right for you, and how to keep track of it if and when you are awarded funds.

Format

• The training will take place as a live, online class (it will not be recorded)
• Once you register through this website, you will be emailed a link to register with Zoom, our online platform.
• As a participant, you must be able to view the instructor and visuals aids.
• To receive STARS credit, you will be required to participate in a variety of ways such as: through discussion and activities, typing comments in the chats and making liberal use of the reactions button. 
• Requirements: stable internet access, audio via phone or speaker, and an email address.

• Up to $250 fee reimbursement may be available through MERIT.
• Registration and payment required 48 hours in advance
• Full refunds for cancellations are only issued with at least one day advance notice.
• Sorry, no refunds are available for last minute cancellations or no-shows. Those arriving more than 15 minutes late will not receive STARS hours or a refund.
• Class cancellations will be posted on our training calendar and registrants will be notified.
